Layman’s Prayer

Lord, I am just a layman in the church

Lord, thank You for freely giving us salvation

Lord, I don’t know how to preach

Lord, I only know how to listen when people preach

Lord, I really don’t know how to pray out loud

Lord, I don’t possess a good voice to praise You!

Lord, I don’t expect to receive rewards in heaven

Lord, I am satisfied with the least important person position in heaven

Even that position is way more than what I really deserve

For me, to live beside You forever is more precious & more important than

Any crowns, rewards and glories;

It is the most precious reward for me!

Bawipa kei cu, Kawhhran ih member menmen ka si

Bawipa rundamnak a lakin in pek, in tuahsakmi parah ka lungawi

Bawipa kei cu, thuthanṭha simtu pawlih thu ngai lawng ka thiam

Bawipa kei cu, ring zetin, au ciamco ih thlacam ka thiamlo

Bawipa kei cu, aw ṭha zetih hlasak khal ka thiamlo

Bawipa, kei cu, Vanram ih laksawng ngah ding ka beisei lo

Bawipa kei cu, Vanram ih tenaubik dinhmun, ka duh tawk

Cuih dinhmun cu, ka phulo laksawng sangbik sawn a si

Suilukhum le laksawng dang pawl hngakin

Na kiangih kumkhua um dingmi ka si kha ka hrangah

Laksawng mankhungbik miangmo a si!
