Layman’s Prayer

Lord, I am just a layman in the church

Lord, thank You for freely giving us salvation

Lord, I don’t know how to preach

Lord, I only know how to listen when people preach

Lord, I really don’t know how to pray out loud

Lord, I don’t possess a good voice to praise You!

Lord, I don’t expect to receive rewards in heaven

Lord, I am satisfied with the least important person position in heaven

Even that position is way more than what I really deserve

For me, to live beside You forever is more precious & more important than

Any crowns, rewards and glories;

It is the most precious reward for me!
