We used to enjoy this beautiful house of my parents.
With melodies of laughing, crying and so much joy.
When we were young, we thought our house was like a castle,
Filled with lots of stories, love and kindness…
But now it is emptied and quiet…
Bombed and destroyed by the brutal Burmese military regime!
All our childhood memories are depleted!
But they can’t erase our determination to fight till the
end!
Many lost their limbs and sacrificed their lives for
freedom.
Compared to these heroes' loss, losing our house is nothing!
It’s not the end but just the beginning of a new era!
We’ll rebuild our houses, cities more magnificent than
before…
We’ll rebuild our country stronger than before.
We'll win, We shall overcome….."
